ok I just did a water test with an API Freshwater Master Test Kit

PH 7.8
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20

Any feedback on wrong levels and what I could do to fix them would be wonderful! I'd hate for my fish to be suffering! THANKS.

The barbs are a bit big for a tank that size. Otherwise you should be fine. The Platy and mollies will love your water, the betta will be OK with it and the tetras and BNP will survive in it. I would be surprised if the mollies don't really thrive in that water.

the barbs are going to go. i've researched them a bit and know my tank is too small. I've had one of the mollies for almost 4 years (I had a 10 gallon tank before this one but had no idea that you had to pay close attention to water parameters and such) and the newest fish, besides the barbs are the glass fish. I've had all my fish for at least 6 months and they're doing well.

Without knowing GH and KH it's impossible to say whether the mollies will like it.

are they normal glass fish or "painted glass fish"

if they are the painted variety please be advised that you have been a victim of buying tatooed fish (yes literally injected with die) and I would call the pet store you got them at.. give them a piece of your mind (it helps because the more people that complaint the better).. and dont expect them to live more than a month

if they arent painted.. sorry for the rant (this is a soft spot with me lol)
