would apistos be happy in my tank??

hello i have recently discovered two types of apistos that i think are awesome so i want some i would like 2 apistogramma cacatuoides and 2 apistogramma agassizii my tank is a 55 temp is 28-29 pH is 6 it has 4 discus some tetras cories and a few other amazonian fishes

Seems fine, but I really would not risk it with those discus in the tank. Apistos can get a bit nippy during spawning time, so if you know the exact genders, it would be fine.

i'm not planning any breeding the discus are getting big so i think they can stand their ground

Apistos should be fine. Apistogramma cacatuoides get my vote.

i say agassizi its a lil more docile but if you planing on gettin some i suggest 3 or more 1 male 2 female keeps the attention on the females.

word to the wise get some coconuts and crackem open and make some huts for them they like a home to sleep in at night. and you may get some fry out of it too.
