:help:I moved my angel fish to 55g tank that has corallife 50/50 light. When I turn light on, they are scared and hiding at lowest part of tank between plants, when i turn the light off- they are happy grazing around.
Does corallite hurts their eyes? or there are some other reasons. Please and thank you.:help:

Give him some time to adjust leave the lights off for the 1st day or so. Then start by room light on to keep stress down, after about an hour or so turn the fixture on. He still may be a little stressed but will adjust.

I would also suggest putting your tank's lighting on a timer so there is consistency in the photocycle. The sudden on/off that comes completely unexpected sreates stress.

My koi angelfish freak out if i turn on the light anytime after I move them. Its normal, give them a day or two to de-stress.
