Any Ideas what sex this fish might be? I just got this Jack from a local shop. Thanks, Arkangel77

Due to the large amount of blue on the lower gill plate, and the lack of color on the upper body, it looks to be a female.

If that's how you sex a female then that it is. I have one as well that I suspected to be female because her face gets full on blue but lacks the sparkles on her body.. On her fins she does have though. Then I picked another up and he has sparkles very profound on his body. So yea.. Female JD u got there
 
Ya I kinda figured as much from what I have read here in the past. I have another almost the same size who is collored exactly the same and let me tell ya! They tried to Kill each other when they were first placed in the tank! I had to seperate them asap or someone would have lost a Lip/Jaw.

Is it normal for 2 femails to go nuts on each other like they did. The other one I dident take a pic of is kinda showing "breading" colors. Thanks, Arkangel77
