Ok... So I bought 30 ramshorns andI put about 6 in my 20 gallon, 4 in my 29 gallon, and 20 in my algae rampant 10 gallon. They are butchering the algae effeciantly, but I already have 9 patches of snail eggs. Will that be too much? What should I do?

Get 1-2 (maybe 3?) assassin snails per tank...they'll help keep the population of ramshorns down. I don't know how efficient they are at killing snails so you'll have to experiment with the right ratio. Otherwise, I'm sure someone on the forum will have a better idea.

Rams are very snaeaky at hiding their egg sacks if you saw 9 there are probably another 20 you missed. You can breed them and send them to folks like me. Use them as food for your fishies. Get Assassins to keep the population under control. Wait until you have 5000+ snails like me....:evil_lol:

Or better yet, setup another tank with either puffers or loaches and throw the snails in there as there population grows. Personally, I'd go for Fahaka!

mail them to me... lol my cichlids love to munch them
