Never had one before. Just confirming. Could be a leaf.

It's a flower! I got an anubias flower for the first time about a week ago. It'll open up after a few days.

Yes that would be a flower bud.

Anubius is one of the semi aquatic plants that continues to grow underwater as if it is still at least partially above water. Anubius that are doing well will bloom regularly for you.

Like the others, I agree that it is a flower. Mine bloomed once. Hasn't bloomed since but continues to grow.
