I'm looking for a few Pygmy Corys. Florida guppies Plus had them for $1.00 a piece, but they seem to have disapeared from their website. Any suggestions? Sam

Seems like the pygmaeus are getting harder and harder to find. Franks Aquarium is out of stock and he charges $3/each. Check with http://www.frybabies.com/. The carry them sometimes.

I bought a dozen C. pygmaeus of various size from That Pet Place in January. The store was about a 2hr drive from my place. I ended up losing 1/2 of them w/in the next 2 days. I think the smaller ones were weakened by the drive and didn't make it. I was there yesterday and bought their 4 remaining C. habrosus. In my tank, the C. habrosus seem hardier and more active while the C. pygmaeus are more fragile and slower moving. I'm not sure if some of the smaller C. pygmaeus would survive shipping. Anyhow, keep checking their website. Price is good at 99c a piece. You just might have to order more than what you want in case some don't make it to you. Apparently they do have C. hastatus, too but I haven't seen them yet.
I having been watching for them too. http://www.corysrus.com/ has two species of pygmies, but there seems to be a minimum order of ten. & I would prefer not to pay shipping, or maybe wait to find them cheaper....

Got mine from Arizona Aquatic Gardens on 2 different occasions, and had no problems. I check them all the time for stuff I am looking for. Good luck.

i have an incredible mom and pop kind of fish store near me that caries several types of pygmy cories (i think two or three). if i was into shipping fish i could get them and send them to you...but i have never shipped fish and really don't intend to lol
look around for some hole-in-the-wall random fish stores and check around. usually they can special order a bigger variety of things than chains (at least my lfs can :D)

Hey Edj05, you should check around for feedback on ordering from that site. I have read a few (-) review on them. Where are you in NJ? I'm near Cherry Hill.
I haven't seriously considered ordering from them, so I didn't check the feedback... I know they sell on Aquabid too. I am located near Jackson.
