Hi everyone,
Iam new to AC,hope to learn alot from all of YOU. I need info on seting a
new 90 gal. with Angels. Ihave a two canister Fluval 305. I was advised
that I should change to UGFilter,Angels do not like to much carent.
Please advise. boban:help:

The canisters will be fine. The angels will have no problems with the current.

Welcome to AC. If you already have the 2 filters listed I would not go out and buy a UGF. If the current turns out to be too much for the angel there are ways to baffle the outflow. I don't think it will be an issue though.

What way do I do that???
I had two large Tiger Oscars, they died day apart . I have no idea Why??
Water was PH 7.6 Amo. 0 NO3 was10 NO2 was 0.temp 71.6
Should I change all water? Wate4r change was done 3 days before thay died?

spray bars are a good way to make a current more gentle. you can rotate the holes so that they spray the water upwards, creating less current in the lower regions of the tank and good surface agitation. you can also use multiple return lines so that not as much water is flowing out of one region. and you can use large items such as driftwood or rock to create dead spaces in the current
