I got a tank with 4 african cichlids and 2 catfish and 1 pleco. I will soon get a 50g tank and was wondering if any oddball fish get along well with them, or anyother type of fish? thanks

ignore the first 2 fish, there in a seperate tank, as for the catfish ones a spotted pictus and the other is just like that but has 4 lines instead, it was called 4-lined pictus at the petstore whe ni got him 4 years ago, pleco just a common one.

well no one answered this thread really, but i was also curious is kribs would be ok in an african cichlid tank, 55g. I always liekd them for their color but they might be too peacefull for africans..

Kribs are african. They are river fish, however, and wouldn't go along with rift lake fish because of the different water conditions. (rift lake fish need high ph blah blah blah).

I inquired about this already. I love my kribs! :D I am getting them thier own tank eventually, but for now they will have to live in my 20 gal community tank, as they can't go in my 32 gal malawi tank.
