Can I add garlic to betta's food?

He won't eat his food and only eat bloodworms. Can I add garlic powder to it?

garlic powder is not real great, fresh crushed garlic or jarred garlic is better.

it's supposed to encourage them to eat a bit more, like an aphrodisiac only for food lol

its a natural appetite stimulant. Also if fed in the proper concentrations for a few weeks, it can change the pH of the intestines making then inhospitable for intestinal parasites.
