Hey everybody,

I finally went to the welding supply store and bought a washer for my CO2 duel gauge regulator. I hope that if it doesn't leak anymore that I'm ready too hook up my CO2 system. How should I go about doing this? I have a inline reactor already hooked up and the tank is filled to about 600psi I think. Should I get the tank refilled fully or is it good for now? Also, when I do set it up how should I go about setting my Ph monitor? It is a Milwalkee Sm122? I don't know how to hook it up because it has a AC/DC power adapter and some other thing that plugs into the wall that also has a power plugin on it as well. I don't understand how I'm supposted to hook my....wait I understand now! I plus my CO2 regulator into that wall adapter (switch). Atleast I think so. Anyways at what pH should I have my pH monitor set on? I think my pH normally is 8.3 with the hard water but I just tested my softwater to I use for my aquariums and it looks like its around 7.6 or even may be higher. Thats as high as my pH test card goes to. I guess I could use my pH monitor to check my pH when I'm setting up my system. My plants are really small and are growing slowly so I don't know how much co2 I need to put in the tank to work. Also when I hook up my system would it help with my hair aglae?

If theres anything else I missed, please fell free to insert in your reply, thanks!

With the SMS122 one plug is for power the other that has a plug on the back of it is where the regulator gets plugged in. This will allow the controller to turn off the Co2 once the set PH is met. I suggest you use a Co2 indicator to make sure you have the correct Co2 levels they are easy to use.
