My new buffalo head cichlid

Here is my newest addition, I have had him for 3 weeks, his "hump" is coming in very well. I love his goby like movements and dark blue color. Now I just have to find him a girlfriend. I would recommend these guys to anyone, but they are a little pricey, $20 for a 2" fish that you hope is male.

Why so difficult to find mates?

They're not readily available (at least locally) and like the op said are kinda pricey (especially if shipping or getting a bunch of unsexed juvies to grow out).
