I've been feeding my Kenyis flakes for weeks and I want to mix their diet up with lettuuce. How should I clean the lettuce? I'm a little worried about the two younger ones, they hang out on separate sides of the tank a lot.

i just use romane lettuce, rinse with water and use a paper towel to dry it off. then i just put a leaf on the bottom of the tank and put a bit of gravel on it to hold it down, the next day it will have holes all through it

That sounds liek the best way to do it. You can also buy veggie clips that hold it down.

I don't really understand why you would dry the lettuce before putting it in water though?

I'm very worried. I have a 20G tank and 3 Kenyis, but the Kenyis won't eat anything today. It's been like 14 hrs since the last time I fed them plus one of them has a definite change in color. They must be stressed, but from what I can't figure out.

You've been doing a lot of work with that tank lately so maybe they are just a bit stressed from that. Sometimes turning the lights off and staying away from the tank for awhile can help them calm down. This is assuming thhere is still no ammonia or nitrites happening.
