Way, way, way too small. They grow to about 5" and need space for a territory...and anything they shared a space with a RTS in that size tank would get pummeled anyways.

Where are you getting the info?

Welcome to Ac, btw!

Too small. I wouldn't put one in anything smaller than 30g. I'd suggest you search the internet and compare information from several different sources rather than going with just one.

I made that mistake right off the bat.
I got a 20 gallon gifted to me and went out and bought a RTS and a clown loach for it. Big mistake!! Ended up buying a 55 just so he would stop harrassing my other fish. You will either end up getting a bigger aquarium or having to take a fish back to the LFS(alive or dead)

I would agree with the 4 ft. length tank minumum. Welcome to the forums!

Its not that they need the water space cause they will be OK in a 10 however they need the tank space if there are other fish in there. Even when you got 1 RTS in a 30 gallon the RTS can and will attack the other fish. THey are HIGHLY territorial fish. I jsut gave mine to a LFS because of the damage he was doing to my kuhli's

lol fishlore... Sometimes they say good things, but if you try to dispute the 1"/gallon rule, you better duck.

The people on the forums give better advice than the species profile... but I think AC is generally more reliably spot-on.

Use the USER CP at the top, once you open it you can find those threads and posts of yours.

Just remember what section you put it in, more then likely its near the top.

when I want to find my own threads, I go to "Quick Links" at the top and select "my threads." To track threads I've posted on, I changed my settings so every thread I've replied in is "subscribed" to. And then I go to subscriptions from the quick links.
