Bully Terror

I just put a 6" blood parrot in a 110 gal with an 8" green terror(gold saum), a convict and two catfish.
The terror is being really aggressive toward it and I was wondering if this is normal when adding another big cichlid to a tank. Is he just establishing dominance, or will he kill the blood parrot?

try rearranging everything in the tank if you don't mind. That way it's new to everyone and aggression will sometimes dwindle down a bit

It didn't really work, but now my tank looks better. Thanks for the suggestion!

helps sometimes, I know some terrors live up to their names, so best of luck! Maybe someone else can chime in also!

They may get used to each other after a couple of day's. Keep an eye on him and if the agression doesn't improve you would need to rehome one of them. Occasional chasing is no problem, give them time to sort out new territories.
