View Full Version : Any good plant ID sites?

So, going along with the crap of my LFS... every plant is the exact same price, they don't list what the plant it, and don't know themselves... just pick a plant and we'll give it to you.


So, is there a site where I could at least compare what they have to what the plant might actually be so I'd know what I'm getting into...

EDIT: and no java moss... I wanna cry here, I wanted that for a different tank layout...

Tropica's great, except they are drawings, not real pics, but I think it has the most kinds: http://www.tropica.com/default.asp Somehow there's a way to get a page full of little icons of all the plants they have (so you don't have to click on each name) but I can't remember how to get there.

I like the plantgeek guide because it gives you all sort of sorting options.
