Renewed interest in freshwater aquariums when I got a 5g hex for Christmas; have added a 29g, both Marineland systems. We have four rescued cats and a Border Collie mix of various ages. I have been fascinated by living things my entire life, and am basically a country person. I love to read, and used to garden and sew as well as earn a paycheck. Currently sidelined by back problems and interested in finding out if any members live nearby. Located near Aurora, IL.
