I found her dead last night under some flaming moss. She had been dead for less then 24 hours. Part of her body was detached from the shell. She was the last one that had. I lost her "hubby" about 4 months ago. I have been treating her for shell damange and it was almost perfect again. The front was rebuilt. The only thing that was wrong with her shell was some white lines on the back (away from the body). It took me a couple of months to get her shell repaired. Lots of calcium pills and snail jello. I can't believe after all that and getting her shell back to such good condition she just died. It happens though I guess. :( I am going to miss my apple snails. I enjoyed them more than I enjoyed my fish. I know that sounds odd but I Loved watching them slide across the glass and chomp down on wafers and jello.

Thanks :) I'm going to try to buy a couple of them when I get some money saved up. We are having a really hard time money wise (which is why I haven't been on the board in such a long time). As soon as I get this eviction noticed taken care of, Im going to buy a couple of apple snails lol.

Aw, I'm sorry. I just got a new magenta from msjinkzd, but my big blue apple snail has been missing for almost a week. :( It is strange how you get so attached- my snails have names even though my fish don't. (The new magenta's name is Murdoch, don't ask )
