So I got this margarita snail and I have to ask.. are they just dumb or what? Is it the way they are shaped? 2 times now in the last 6 days I have had to reach in and flip it back over.. it's fallen off the rock and can't get itself turned back over.. the first day I only watched it for maybe 10min and felt bad for it so grabbed it right away and turned it over, but the second time, yesterday, I left it there for probably 2 hrs! It never righted itself, I actually thought maybe it was going to die that way so I reached in and flipped it over again..I guess my question is, is this normal for them? Do I just have a dumber one? It kind of has me worried.. I mean what if it happens when I'm at work? or when I go on my week long vacation.. my dad will feed stuff but he ain't gonna be sticking his hand in there I guarantee it.. will it die upside down?

i don't know margarita snails but nerites can't flip themselves i believe. if we have a nerite that is on its back with no way to flip itself, we reach in and do it...very seldom but it happens.
