i just bought an emperor 400 bio-wheel to replace a whisper4. i also have an hot magnum 250 and two aqua clear 301 power heads in a 55 gal. tank do you think the filtration will be to much for a tropical river scene thanks

IMHO, you can never have too much filtration, as long as your not going so far its crazy. Especially in your case, with a river scene, extra filtration will give it more flow, and maybe make it look more like a river. That doesnt sound like way too much to me.
