Will Co2 cause larger leaves?

I started dosing DIY Co2 into my 55G a few days ago, not sure yet on the exact levels, but it looks like the color on my drop checker is slowly changing. One thing I recently noticed though was that the leaves on my hygro are growing much larger than they ever used to. Is that the kind of effect I should be able to see from the Co2?

As far as i am concern CO2 is the best thing for plants. some say that it works faster than ferts. and i belive it

I think I might have to start looking into pressurized Co2 if my plants keep growing at this rate. I have probably only had a steady stream of bubbles for about a week now, I have a glass diffuser beneath the inlet for my filter, so all the Co2 gets sucked in there and out the spraybar.

I come home today and notice plants that literally last weekend were about 3" form the top of the water, now needing to be trimmed as they are about to break the surface of the water. So, I might look at getting a pressurized set up for the ease and longer term financial difference.

More scissor work is fine, I have 2 other tanks that are looking a little bare! I am really amazed at the difference in growth!

would an air stone be good at makin lotsa bubbles. you know the ones that look like half a pill or would the CO2 break down the material?
