Hi all, I have a jar of these seachem "Cichlid Salts" laying around, and the ingredients include stuff I have heard might be good for invertebrates in general, e.g. calcium, magnesium, potassium, aluminum, iodine, iron, etc. Has anyone experimented with adding something like this to an invert tank? Would it even be helpful?

source pH is about 7-7.4, not sure about hardness but my LFS says he softens his water intentionally and I do have some deposits on my strip light...

maybe instead of futzing around w/these I should just feed calcium rich food?

i would just start out feeding a good varied diet mixed with protein and veggie matter. Shrimp are not as demanding as things like crays when it comes to supplements.
