it's been eight days since my LR (90 lbs of it and LS from TBS was introduced in my 90G tank with lots of hitchikers including a tiger gobi I tested the water every other day and up to today all the readings are the same
Ammonia=0
PH= 8.0
nitrate =25
nitrite=0
did my tank cycled?
and another question, should I be feeding anything to the critters and soft corals ?
Thanks in advance

seems a little fast, but the Live Rock and Sand could have hosted enough bacteria to maintain a bio-filter. What was your peak ammonia and nitrite spike?

I would think even with cured live rock that was shipped to you it would take between 2 to 3 weeks. it's possible you didn't have a real strong ammonia source, and the bacteria on the rock took care of it, however when you add a new ammonia source (ie fish) it will spike a little.

Thanks for the reply Guy,
There was no ammonia or nitrite spike at all ,
since I got the rock I'm testing the water every two days and the ammonia show 0 and nitrites 0 i been running the skimmer since day one maybe I should shut it off for one day ?
Thanks.
