I have quite a few of these babies for sale. They are about 1.25" and growing. Very cool and sought after plecos, one of my personal favorites. The white seams are so intense, look like they glow in the dark. The seams do get less intense as adults though, but still very cool.
Here's more info on planetcatfish.com. (http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=221) These guys stay pretty small, max around 4" or just under.

Thanks! :)
FYI... these fish are F1 generation, meaning the parents are wild caught. They will have much stronger genes.

Am I correct with my thinking that they MUST be kept in black water conditions?

Not the F1 generation. At least, not mine! :) I have my grow out in regular tap water. I do use Indian Almond leaves in the tank, but that's pretty much it. Adult wild caught ones can be ok in regular water, but definitely thrive and breed in soft black water.

Black water? Where I come from, fish water would always be black water, because black water is waste water that contains poop. What do you mean by blackwater?

Blackwater is soft and acidic, called that because in nature it's usually dark with tannins from decaying vegetation. Amazon rainforest sort of environment, neon tetras are a very well-known species from that biotope. They need soft water to spawn successfully. If the water is too hard the egg membranes will absorb minerals and become too tough for the embryo to break out of.
