name that snail?

Is that not just a small bladder snail whose shell hasn't hardened and turned opaque yet?

I've got soft water (that I need to harden) in a cycling aquarium... currently just plants and snails in there- a lot of my smallest bladder snails are partially transparant like that- probably a combination of being small and lack of calcium.

Unless they're not bladders and I've got limpets or something weird...

Photo is small and hard to tell though.

i know. got it from elsewhere and cant seem to enlarge it lol. But im not sure what it is, someone was asking, and someone thinks its a dwarf apple snail lol. Which im thinking not lol

It does look a lot like what I've been assuming are baby bladders in my tank.

I'd be highly surprised if I had any baby apple snails in my tank. Based on the photo the snail is what... 1 or 2 mm long?

looks an aweful lot like a baby apple snail. I got some yesterday a little bigger than peas and sooo cute :hearts:

Well... if that's a baby apple I wonder if mine are too... no adult apples in my tank- so they must have hitchhiked if they are... I'll have to see if I can photo one this weekend- or pluck one out my tank and look at it a little closer.

I'd feel terrible if I'm putting baby apples through the cycling process... I bet mine arn't though.

Hope yours are!

Looks just like my baby ivory/blue briggs.
