Hi all,
thought i would post some pics of my baby java ferns since i'm a newbie and wasn't sure what was happening when they first sprouted! i looked everywhere online to find out if what i was seeing were babies or just some funky algae and couldn't find any pictures. these pics are about two months old. now i have beautiful, healthy java ferns everywhere in my tank.http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/gc1MSVHh5jx066F7bCiRUA?feat=directlinkhttp://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/JSzChYw3nwb_F2B9ZvTDsw?feat=directlinkhttp://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/wtVtuMhlits2tk_DBfX5bA?feat=directlinkhttp://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/7jIekV3T9riVGutAGNFXXw?feat=directlink

my tank is a 10g w/

I think Turkey confused the word rhizome (the horizontal stem of a fern) with the word ribosome (the site of protein synthesis in a cell).
