what fish

starting to cycle my 125 litre tank and would like suggestions as to what fish i should get, according to water report my water is 15.6 dh and the ph of my tank water is 7.2, prob high for some fish i want, such as

black widows
ottos
harliquins
pearl gourami
bristle nose plec

any comments v.welcome as to what should go and any ideas for different fish, thanks:help:
 
I'd go with everything but the "black widow tetras". I think 125 litre is like 28 gallons in americanese, right? That should be a good fit for a nice school of harliquins a gourami and a small plec. Maybe some 5-6 cories too..
 
Is the 15.6 KH or GH?

pH is fine for anything. Lots of rubbish talked about pH, to be honest. However, the water may be a bit hard for some species.
 
degrees german=15.6, mgl CaCO3 =278. this is from a report as i have not got a hardness tester yet, make any sense?
 
thanks to all, hey dopehand, thats how my parents told me i was adopted, the good ol' cat in a cake, and i thought it was an english custom.
