i have two different types of snail eggs visible in my tanks, both soft jelly-like blobs with visible white dots in them, and a solid, non-jelly clutch that looks like solidified spit, which i can't really see through. they are obviously pond snails and ramshorns, since my only other snails are MTS and the only fish are rasboras. how long do these two types of eggs take to hatch? i've had the small non-jelly clutch for nearly two weeks and have seen no changes in it, nor any additional clutches. the dots in the jelly clutches move around and grow, and are springing up all over both tanks- five or six in less than a week. i really want them all to hatch, but i have no idea what to be expecting to see from either clutch, or how to tell if one is a dud.

i just added the pond snails to the tanks this week, and i bought them to provide my turtle with a steady supply of food.

i'm wanting to know how long it will take both types of eggs to hatch, and at what point i should remove them if they don't hatch in that time period.

I would say #1 are pond snails, and #2 are ramshorns.
