Help ID these suitcases for me!

First I have to say HELLO! I just started a salt tank about 8 weeks ago. I recently added about 50 more pounds of live rock to my 90 gal. Searching everything over I found these clear egg cases all in a row like dominos. They honestly look like little suitcases with yellow dots. I would assume they are eggs. Have any idea of what might come crawling out?? Thanks for your help!

I have seen these before, and I do believe they are a type of snail egg. Not 100% sure, but the ones I saw never did hatch. You can always research more on these here.

They do resemble many gastropod eggs, especially laid in a row like that. As to exactly what laid them, I don't know.

answer to post about "suitcases"

Well I think I found my answer to the "suitcase" question. I noticed a conch sitting in a single spot for most of the day. I came home this evening to another row of the clear egg cases right in the same spot!! :woot:How crazy is that? Just thought I would share.........Have a good one! Lonna
