Hey EveryBody,

I recently Moved My Tank(33gallons Long, I belive) To A new Location, And It Seems Pretty Lifeless. The Only Fish in it is a possible breading pair of Neolamprologus Brichardi. Any Suggestions On how to add life to the tank. The Tank is around 73 degrees with about 3 inches of gravel and a lot of hiding spots for them to breed and water is a little above neutral Ph. I know that this Fish gets Territorial when breeding But I would Still Like to add something to liven up this tank. Also this fish seems to hide a lot, I don't know if there about to breed or are they hiding because of new surroundings. I just put the fish in the tank last night so I have no clue which one it is.

Thanks A lot

33gal is very small to add any anything else with Brichardi"s. How about one peacock or some ditter fish (giant danios but only 2 or 3).

For a small tank like yours, I go with Shellies or 1m/2f saulosi's. i would look to buy a used six footer and sell this tank. :)

i'd go with something fairly small and fast. i use giant danios with my cons, but you might be able to do something smaller with neo brichardi.........

Give the fish some time and let them adjust to the new tank. They will come out more. Also your tank is a bit on the cold side. Raise it to 76 -78 and the fish will be more active as well. Also if you really have a breeding pair in there give it some time and they will fill up your tank in no time and sooner or later you will come back here and write a thread on what to do with all the Brichardi's in your tank. :D

A small school of barbs might be hardy and quick enough to do fine.
