Reefresh20 on sale!! Is it worth it ?

I got an extra tray in my fluval 405 I was thinking about adding some 5/8" balls is this stuff comparable to substrate pro ? The price is not bad it looks promising. Anyone have experience with it?

I bought one for my whisper 40. I didn't really like it for that filter. However, if it were crushed up and put into the filter box--would be better. IMO it would be good--but no better than cheaper items you can get.
