so i now have 4 mollies in total, two bigger ones, and two small hunchbacked ones. the two big ones are a male and a female and they looked like they were wrestling in the water, are they fighting or did i witness their mating ritual?

With livebearers, it's about impossible to tell. It could be a little of both, but if these fish are in a smaller tank they will have tendency to fight more.

i dont know what got into her, she was peaceful when i had different fish with her earlier. i dont think that it was mating, because the male is huddled in the corner right now. i seperated her from the other fish. she is in one of those little cages that hand from the side of the tank. after my male starts swimming around healthy i hope that she will be ok with the other fish if i release her again. is this true, or will i have to trade her in at a pet store?

ok update time....
when i woke up the male was fine, infact he was mating with another female. should i seperate the male from the female so that he doesnt kill her, or will they go there own way whent they are done?
also they are swiming really close to each other and the female doesnt appear to be trying to escpape.
