ok sound desprite!!!! well i am! i need a tank all i have is a 2.5 gal thats it well i have a 10 gal but no lid and a lid and light cost more than tha whole set up would like to find a 10 ,20 or 30 gal tank cheapwith lid and all ya know i live in bristol va email me if u have what i need please help guys i want to breed bettas and fancy guppies and green aenus corys but not in all tha same tanks guys ha new but not that new so please help a starter please thanks guys!

Wish I could help but just wanted to say I spent a few years in a little town outside of Norton can't remember the name of the place. Guess that shows how much I liked it there ;) Have you tried buying a hood at wal mart for the ten? They really aren't that expensive.

If you are looking to actully keep up with the hobby and planning to breed. You will need multiple tanks each having accessories, heater/filter/substrate/food/medication/chemical/etc. All of that is a lot of cash by itself.

Petsmart sells complete kits for about $40 for a 10 gallon I believe

10 gallon hood+light is about $29

Go on cragslist or freecycle.
