not really, i just thought it would be a funny title >.> (cuz i really like the movie, and i really like puns...)

so, back when my tank was cycling and i was doing non-stop recon on my LFS, he had kuhlis in there constantly, and even when i'd find the kuhli tank empty, i'd come in the next day to see new stock. now, though, when i've got my tank up and running and have fish and i've patiently waited a couple weeks before getting the next installment of fishies, i can't find any. i went in last weekend to get them, and there were none. i checked back again this weekend, and still none. the guy told me they'd get more in either yesterday or today, but when i raced to the store from work to snap some up before they closed, there were still none. their supplier has run dry, apparantly.

i know that there are other stores around here that have them from time to time, but i don't know and trust those stores nearly as much as this store. so, rather than buy fish from a store i don't know or trust, i thought i might search within the community of (theoretically :D) responsible hobbyists here on AC. i know kuhlis are reportedly impossible to breed, but i'm still gonna ask... what are the chances of finding three or four kuhlis for sale here? >.> or, should i just hunker down, sit on my hands, and wait with bated breath for my LFS to have kuhlis on a day that i'm there and have time to acclimate them properly?

Have your LFS put you on the waiting list and put a few kuhlis on reservation. I do that when I request my local stores for fish and snails I want. You could try our classifieds here for some kuhli loaches although kuhlis aren't commonly traded around.

If you do find anyone let me know! I never see Kuhli here either!
