Whats your favorite burger recipe? (inspired by zigs chicken salad thread)
ground beef
worcestier(sp), A1, or BBQsauce
cayenne pepper
chopped onion
copped garlic (or powder if i am lazy)
Mix it all up, make into patties and then grill. Like all good grilling (imho) i have no real proportions of anything i just wing it until i am satisfied.
If i have pre-made frozen patties (really lazy)
Patties seasoned with cayenne and/or garlic powder

Ground beef, minced garlic, minced onion, 1 yolk, and some bread crumbs for the patties. Sautee some fresh mushrooms and onions in butter over a low heat, till golden brown. Remove from heat and mix with crumbled gorganzola. Spoon this mix over the cooked patties, and serve on a toasted Portugese roll.

made some cajun burgers this weekend out of frozen patties.
simply add cajun spices 1/2 way through the cooking process...when doing it this way though i prefer 4 flips instead of 2, i think it cooks in better and allows for 2 applications of spices so that they dont all simply fall/burn off

mine requires meat grinder and some round steak.
add garlic , onion(powder) , a bit of soy. pepper light on salt.
you may need a binder depending on fat content. if you do. slatines and egg work.
mix and let sit over night.
form patties make sure you leave a dent in the center to compensate for swelling.
grill on hot fire...I usually leave the side down and rotate the burger for good grill marks. flip once... make sure you get a nice caramelization.

Dang it. I'm starving right now and it's raining out. I don't like to get wet so I'm staying in. Did not count on seeing this thread though.
My favorite recipe is good quality meat, liquid smoke, pinch of seasoning salt and some spices sold by a local burger chain. Too incredibly good.
