I have a male brig that has pulled himself back into his shell. He's pulled himself back into the shell almost an inch. I have RCS and MTS that are constantly in the shell with him. He never moves. Even when I touch him, he doesn't pull back. He's been like this for 3 days. He doesn't smell dead. He doesn't even smell fishy like you would expect. He's so far back in the shell that I thought he was dead...

Anyone have any idea? (I know it's a little vague, but I can't seem to reword it and my camera sucks.)

try to QT the snail by itself and see if you notice any movement. put him in a container of tank water as long as the parameters are safe.

they usually smell super dookie when dead or soon after.

I will give it a try. :)

Any recent changes?

what are you feeding him?

I haven't made any real changes to the tank and he's the only one that's acting this way. I feed them snail jello that I make. None of the other brigs, Ramshorns, MTS, Pond Snails, or RCS seem to be affected.

I'm not sure of his exact age because I bought him when he was about the size of a quarter. Now he's the size of a half dollar. I checked on him again last night and he's moving a little now. I'll be keeping a close eye on him.
