Last night I added a second fan to the Aquapod and it made a really noticeable difference. So that was good. I also purchased the actual stand that was supposed to go with the tank. Drained a good portion of water off and then moved it to the correct stand. In the process I kicked up a lot of sand and I think that spelled a premature death for my damsels. The snowball damsel was dead this AM when woke up and the humbug was panting like crazy. Nem and cleaner shrimp were no worse for the wear.
Did a five gallon water change. Still panting. Did another five gallon. Still panting. ammonia is just below .25 after first change, nitrites at 0. Can't figure it out.
On the upside all my parameters tested perfect today so I was allowed to purchase a couple of frags, lol. Got a sweet deal on some zoa colonies and a duncan (duncan has one large head and two very small emerging). All are beautiful adn... knock on wood, opened right up after drip acclimating.
