Jewel of the Rift is a documentary on Lake Tanganyika, originally supposed to be aired early November but was cancelled. it's now scheduled to air on December 22nd at 2pm EST on National Geographic channel.

Figured people might be interested.

Depending on the level of interest, might wanna sticky this until then.

Well I'd watch it if it was on at a time that I could. I don't think they even repeat shows in the early morning hours...

Valerie go on the national geographic website and ask the question. Now I don't know if you guys in Canada get a separate feed of NG or if it is the American feed you are watching.

It's different... the commercials specify the websites is nationalgeograpohic.ca... but we might play the same shows.

We get a different channel up here, and the shows are different too. One time national geographic channel playing the jewel of the rift(It was some time in the spring or early summer) we didn't get it up here.

And if you compare the shows on national geographic canada with the US the shows and times are different.

Well lucky for me at our aquarium club meeting tonight we got to watch the jewel of the rift movie. Very good movie, the only thing i didn't really like was it didn't give the fish's names. It only gave vague names like "emperor cichlid" "gobie cichlid" stuff like that.
