New light...so happy

I have always used 6500K PC lights over my tanks. Looks a little yellow--but IMO it is OK.

My new (or my ex-SW) 120gal is using new 6500K/10000K PC lights and the light looks "whiter". So I bought some new lights for my 100gal too. WOW, it is a lot "WHITER". The fish and plants look "brighter".

I hope the plants like the new spectrum, but I know I do. :) :dance2::dance2::dance2:

your plants will be just fine. 10k is much nicer looking to the eye imo.

Excellent. I was definitely a fan when I started mixing in some 10,000 K. By itself I think it's a tad bit bright, but mixed with 6700k, it's quite nice.
