Like we told you in the other thread, dear...

Yes, you need to turn it and roll it from side to side. You can press gently on it, but too much and it will come apart.

It was perfectly round before it was shipped, and should bounce right back.

when you give them a lil squeeze, just squeeze it more 'ball-ish' each time.

kyryah, i squeeze mine rather, erm, firmly, lol, and they don't fall apart.

I have never really had any trouble with them falling apart myself, but Don is knew to them, and I just don't want him to get too manly with it, lol.

Just FYI, my moss balls are major debris collectors. So I don't sqeeze them out into the tank, I sqeeze 'em out in some tank water in a bowl. Dirties the water less (altho maybe not as big a deal if you don't have plants and can gravel vac easier, but still).

Heh, I think we talked about it way back when actually. I have pics of individual fish but I haven't posted about the whole tank for a while. Cory fry took over. :o It has 2 marimo balls now tho. :D

I love how in your first pics the snail is just gliding off into nothingness lol.

My balls haven't flattened out yet, but I have heard that that is pretty common. As for debris collecting, mine do the same thing so i have to squeeze them out. Hadn't done it in a while and did it last night (in the tank). Won't do that again.
