I have a 20 high with a stock hood.
I have anubias and some other minor low light plants in there.
I need proper lighting on this tank. Can you suggest what I should get and where to find it.
What is your budget? There are many great light set ups around some are more expensive than others. I am on a pretty tight fish budget so I went with Coralife Aqualight. My tank is 29 gallons, but I think it is roughly the same dimensions as a 20 gal h. it is 65 watts.
What are you wanting to grow?

I don't want to do co2. I am sure of that.
I am interested in ordinary low light stuff like anubias, java fern, some hygros...all stuff I have already.
I have this tank planted currently and the plants are languishing and not thriving under the hood/light the tank came with - which is a flourescent tube light.
I would love to go as low dollar as possible...who doesn't! LOL
I don't know how much lighting runs so I have no idea what a reasonable budget should be. Is it possible to do it with $100 or less?

I'm having the same problem! hope you get a solution so I can steal it!
For $108.00 you can get the coralife Aqualight. 65 watts PC. The fixture is 30" long. I really like.
