View Full Version : dead berried yellow shrimp, eggs viable?

I found a dead berried yellow mama and saw her eggs had little black eyeballs already. So I cut as much of the mamas body and placed the body in one of those floating breeder traps with a bubbler.

The tank is pretty warm at around 74 so hopefully at the stage they are at the moment. With the warmth they have a chance to develop and hatch quicker.

Any thoughts, advice?

I remember that thread from a long time ago! Seems I did everything right than, removed most of the carcass so it doesn't rot. I guess a bubbler can be the substitute to the dropper technique.

It's just a waiting game now...
