Have you guys seen it? I'm usually not very into these types of movies, cause lately, it seems like they're all super tacky, with a very cheesy storyline, but incredible graphics (like Transformers... ugh . . ) but, I must say, I truly enjoyed Star Trek,
And I never liked star trek...
This movie kept the cheese level at a minimum, great storyline, great graphics... The whole package.
Do you guys agree?

It was an awesome movie!!! I enjoyed how they kept the psychological aspects in the movie. The story line was the highlight of the movie, and the fight scenes.

what is it about?
dont spoil it for those of us that havent seen it yet..
Who is the crew anyway? Those dorks from TNG? or is it an all new crew?
Of course I could look at Marina Sirtis (Deanna Troi) in those spandex pants all day long, but whats the deal?

I just came back from seeing it. Really good storyline and alot of action. I think that the previews could have been done better, great special effects as well.

I saw it yesterday, it was a great movie. I like how it stayed true to the characters i think the actors did a good job playing their roles. I also like the idea that the time line has been changed so now they can do new adventures with the same characters?

So, is it not like the actual Star Trek? I hated the old shows (maybe hated Piccard the least, not sure...), so if it is nothing like that, then I don't mind seeing it. I was honestly avoiding it because of that.

It depends on what you mean by the actual Star Trek, was it Star Trek? Yes, but was it updated and a good movie for people who probably have never even seen Star Trek? yes.
My wife and I watched it about a week ago, great movie, very entertaining. I am looking forward more to Terminator though :)

I really liked it!
My dad is a Trekkie and I pretty much grew up on it. We watched TNG every week, and watched the older stuff as well. I dug out our old Star Trek movies (on VHS) today and started watching them.
