mixing the colors will get you a mix of colors between both parents and a blend of the genetics,..

It varies. Blue, ivory and jade are a few rarest colors though. I'd mate two of the recessive colors to increase the ratio of recessive colors.

need an example of getting different colours?


2 females: were ivory and golden, both with a cream coloured foot with pink spots on foot and antennae, etc. the ivory had been turning magenta in the majority of her shell over the past few months (possibly due to diet, bloodworms). the golden was an offspring of the ivory with a golden as a dad.

1 male: the dad of clutches laid from both above females was a green shell with lighter colouring 'underneath' (kind of a whiteish blue), and a black foot with orange spots on foot edge and antennae, etc.

the babies from all clutches i allowed to hatch out were mixed clutches of blues and jades, as per my photo research.
