Has anyone ever seen a true gold common ramshorn shell and foot? I haven't and I can't find any pictures on the net of any.

Here is what I'm talking about.

I see some occasionally posted on German sites/boards. Definitely a rarer color.

i used to have them all the time but i think they were lunch to my puffers a while ago,..lol i had thousands,.. of snails can't keep them all
a few of them might of had a hint of orange in the foot but some were like the pic,..

i used to feed all the browns and keep nothing but reds and these reds threw oranges and golds many times,.. but now i just ship them to hungry critters,..
gee if i thought i could make $ on them i would have kept them,..lol but to no avail

There is also a "rainbow" ramshorns floating around on aquabid for like $40+shipping for 10 snails...

The gold one looks awesome! Like gold briggs but mini size :D.

The Rainbows I have seen all have a brown foot. And all the oranges I have seen have a red foot. I have never seen a gold footed one that was why i was asking. Guess I'm gonna have to try a cross and see if I can get more.

Good luck, I'd certainly like to see more than just red and blue when it comes to Ramshorns here.

...what the deuce is the rainbow one?

Basically a Ram with a shell that seems to be multiy colored. I really think it is an olive with just some of the pigment missing and you are seeing the internals of the snail thru the shell.

Wow Dixie! I would have purchased some from you!

I have never seen that color ramshorn; absolutely beautiful. I never knew that color existed.
