Gosh you know, those rabbit snails are so pretty, I may just have to get a few! Any tips on how to create the water conditions they need to thrive? My pH is high, but my kh is 8.

Are the babies clones of the parents (like with mts) or do they need m/fm pairs to reproduce?

What about tiara snail?

Are tiara snails rabbit snails? How do tiaras reproduce? Are they sulawesi like the rabbits are if they're a different type of snail altogether?

The rabbits need both sexes. I don't know a whole lot about the tiaras, they sure look neat though. i don't know that any survived the trip as of yet :( I will get more info and post it up as I have it.

I'd assume Tiara is just a misspelling of Thiara.

I love the look of the Rabbits. Do they all get to be about 3 to 4 inch in size?

The rabbits are like gigantic mts, they are abotu 3", they move in this really neat lurching motion. They eat veggies or most prepared pellets, I have not foudn them to be difficult. They are sex specific and a modified live bearer (my term). They give birth to single young. They are rumored to eat plants, though I have not had this experience so far. I really like them, a surprising amount in fact.

I originally acquired MTS stock (thank you msjinkzd and dixienut) to eventually breed and satisfy the appetites of my Assassin (antenome helena) tank. I like them so much that I can't bear to put the babies in with the Assassins. I guess I am more than just addicted!

To anyone on the fence about the rabbits. They are absolutely fun to watch. My 2 have never eaten any of my plants. They readily eat pretty much anything I put in there- from catfish pellets, veggie pellets, algae disks, cucumber, zucchini, and of course jello. They move like nothing else I have seen. I love mine and can't wait to get some more.
