Im not sure if this little cherry shrimp is saddled its the only one that has the white/yellow 'saddle' looking thing on/in it.

So how do you tell males and females apart? I have five in this tank, and four are very deep red and a beautiful colour, and there is one which is a lot paler and more pinky because of his white and red. So do I have four females and 1 male? Only one of them is saddled that I can see.

Females have more color, bigger as well.
Males have less color and tend to be more clearer as shown above ^.

Its not that light. My one still has quite a bit of red on it. Myabe its still a male just a colourful one?

The males will have color, just not as vivid or bright.
