So Ashe is getting bug and doing well as is mommy! In celebration of his birth we decided to get a tank for his nursery and had it set up and running a week before his arrivel. We still had not gotten his first fish when I went into labor BUT about 4 hours after he was born my mother (who was staying at the house to help us when we got home called the hospital to inform us that there were several small fishes in the tank.

So Ashe's first fish were born on or around the same day he was!

everyone together now "AWWWW"

They are all doing well and getting big too!

Last night though as I was feeding ashe hub's looks in the tank..."hunny....I think we have baby snails now!"

We have counted at least 13

and this morning

"babe...I think we have more baby fish"

We have counted at least 5.

Our local fish store actually takes the baby fish from it's costumers so that is what we will do this time around. Hubs wants to keep all the snails.

We have them in their own tank for right now but here is my question.

When Can I put the baby snails in with the baby fish in my sons tank? (I assume they can co-exsist as their parents did!)

Let me know!

What kind of snails do you have? And what kind of fish?

the fish are mollies (black salfin) and the snails are black and gold mystery snails

Mystery snails are the best! Congratulations.
