i got back from vaction to find one of my loaches missing and my zebra botia is curved and floating around but still breathing and has ocassional movements. I did some water changes and added aqua safe this all i knew how to do.. does anyone know whats wrong?

I don't know personally, but I've been around long enough to know that the first question anyone will ask is what are your water parameters, so I would go ahead and get these if possible.

If (like many beginning and some advanced aquarists) you don't have them, try to include size of tank, fish, filters, tank maintenance schedule, and any chemicals you may have added.
Generally, water changes are the best thing you can do if there is a problem.
Are you sure your loach isn't just hiding? They do that pretty well.
