^^ That's a preliminary report, so the numbers may change.

We've already heard from Mgamer and 247Plants - no damage, their tanks are okay.

Hope all our other members in Southern California are safe and sound.

Neither did I but I live across the giant puddle in the Pacific Ring of Fire.;) Heck, I felt only three quakes in my lifetime.

Aftershock reported...

UPDATE 9:02pm PT: KCAL 9 TV News reports the shaker was 8.4 miles deep. Folks near the epicenter are reporting glasses having fallen off shelves, sounds of ambulances, but so far no report of major damage or injury. They also report a 3.1m aftershock at 8:45pm PT, though we didn't notice here, pretty much in the heart of Hollywood, a mile or three outside of downtown Los Angeles.

Yep, its in the LA area.

Was a fun ride, albeit short.

It was strong enough (and long enough) here (san diego) to go "is this an earthquake?" I've been in them plenty, but it was just that weak. Also, I've gotten used to being on a boat... There wasn't even noticeable movement in my tank water... I did feel the ground shake for a good 30 second, though. That's a decent range...
